Considering that all versions of the original story are flagged with “Offensive For Everyone” , clearly some people find that version to be highly disturbing. I’m not claiming that this version is not disturbing, but I’m at a loss to understand how this version could be more disturbing than the original (unless it’s just the AI factor)

Wow, as if AI wasn't morally deplorable enough for its theft to make up its datasets, here you go and thieve someone else's commissioned work and art and edit/alter it so horrifically. Even if the content of the original not to everyones tastes, least the art was good. Oh the other things not to your taste? So you lazily bastardise the original work to horrendous generated loli versions of supergirl and be such an incompetent spastic as to not be able even get the AI generate to a modicrum, not a one of them, be even remotely consistent with each other in stlye, placement...anything. Ashamed? Uh ... certainly not for anything you take issue with. Yes, the new art isn't perfect. I'm still getting used to the tools, and I consider this to be a work in progress, though I think it is still a lot better than much of the other AI generated stuff on this site (which are often just a bunch of images shat out from a single prompt). I don't feel bad for "homaging" the original "Supergirl's Last Stand", any more than I expect they feel bad for copying the styles and characters created by DC and Marvel. Such is commonplace at this site, or on fan-fiction sites, or on youtube where people create fan edits. It's the nature of the non-commercial community. We create versions of characters and stories and images that we can't find elsewhere.The only ethical issue I see is that I didn't fully give credit to whoever created the original art, but that is only because I have no idea who that is. Regarding the inconsistent style of the art, which shifts between cartoonish and realistic -- that was mostly intentional. When by herself, Supergirl is drawn realistically, but she often becomes more cartoonish when she is interacting with the villains, which are mostly unaltered from the original. Sometimes, the contrast between a realistic Supergirl and a cartoonish villain would be too jarring. So I went with what I felt worked. If you don't like it, too bad. I'm guessing your main objection to my silly abomination is that AI was used to modify the original art, and you see it as a morally bankrupt technology. I disagree, but here would be an odd place to have that debate

I just updated most of the Darkseid and Juggernaut images, making them a little less cartoony and stylistically more like Supergirl. I didn't want to go fully realistic or CG, though, because they are still in a comic book world and I also wanted to keep that playful look. I did very little with Doomsday, though, because I couldn't make him more realistic without making him more disturbing.

I got some new tools, so I decided to "remaster" the images and make Supergirl look more consistent (she still phases between styles a bit, but the transition should be less jarring).
